For the ORF Long Night of Museums the Jewish Museum Vienna is once again organizing a varied and interesting program for young and old that will offer visitors a chance to discover the two museum sites – Museum Judenplatz and the museum in Dorotheergasse – in a new way.
Museum Judenplatz focuses on medieval Jewish Vienna, and the various objects, medieval synagogue and a virtual tour of Jewish Vienna take visitors on a journey back in time. At the same time a highly contemporary exhibition by the artist Tatiana Lecomte can also be seen there.More
In 2009 Tatiana Lecomte in cooperation with Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Niederösterreich and the city of St. Pölten designed a commemoration to the forced laborers interned in St. Pölten between 1944 and 1945. It consisted of 20,000 postcards written by the artist herself and sent over a two-year period to random inhabitants of St. Pölten.More
