In March 1939, Hermann Leopoldi arrived in New York after fleeing Vienna. Welcomed as a “famous refugee,” he soon began performing again at “Alt Wien” in Manhattan. The double CD “Wiener Bonbons” features songs from the various chapters of Hermann Leopoldi’s life.
