To coincide with the European Maccabi Games taking place this year in Berlin from July 27 to August 5, we are offering a guided tour of the museum focusing on stories, objects, and personalities connected with Jewish sport—for example, water polo player Friedrich Torberg or swimmer Hedy Bienenfeld, and we even venture into the snow, right in the middle of summer. We will be showing some selected objects from the Museum collections exclusively on this afternoon.More
Museum Vienna and want to find out about it, or if you don’t have a lot of time but are interested in Jewish culture and history, or if you are familiar with the museum and would like to see what we offer to visitors in a hurry, come along and try it out. This Tour takes place in German.
Believe it or not, even at the height of summer the Jewish Museum has snow(balls)! You will find plenty of interesting objects in the exhibition on Jewish Vienna past and present. During the guided tour you can learn more about your favorite objects and the fascinating stories behind them. In the Atelier you can then shape a snowball with modeling clay—the perfect souvenir. For participants aged 6–10 years.More
