Flaming Star - Elvis in the movies
On the Sundays in July and August we offer you the opportunity to see selected Elvis Presley films as matinees within the scope of the exhibition “Trude & Elvis. Vienna –Memphis –Hollywood”
The movies will be shown in the original English version with German subtitles.
Free admission with a valid ticket.
As of 10 a.m. you can get into the mood for the films at Café Eskeles with a glass of Limonana and a crispy Boureka (a stuffed and baked pastry) for the price of € 4.50.
Neddy, Sam Burton’s second wife, is a Kiowa Indian. Their son Pacer grows up as a “half-blood.” Sam has a white son named Clint from his first marriage. When disputes between the white farmers and the Kiowas arise, the family gets caught in the crossfire of loyalties. Neddy and Sam are killed in the fighting; Pacer ultimately takes sides with the Kiowa, Clint with the whites.
