Guided tour: Our city – through the suburbs with raspberry soda
From 1919 on, Otto Pollak and his brother Karl ran Café Palmhof on Mariahilfer Strasse. You will experience how it turned into a “hotspot,” who all were guests there, what “Miss Vienna” looked like in 1933, and what was on the menu during a visit to the exhibition “Let’s Dance”, combined with exciting stops in the permanent exhibition. Among other places, our walk takes us to the reconstructed Turner Temple and into the difficult years of rebuilding after 1945. For refreshment, we will serve you raspberry soda in Café Eskeles – just like in Café Palmhof.
Participation in the tour is free for visitors with a valid exhibition ticket or annual ticket.
