Mother’s Day in the Jewish Museum Vienna
On Sunday, May 11, the Jewish Museum Vienna invites mothers and their families on a very special guided tour. On our way through the permanent exhibition “Our City! Jewish Vienna Then to Now” we will encounter only women – known and unknown, young and old, famous and special people who have become part of our city both in the past and today. In our Visible Display you can find out about the role of women in religious life and how feminism can express itself. Objects from different times and places tell their stories and allow us to travel through Vienna and the world. Children are most welcome and can paint their favorite objects during the tour on special postcards – souvenir and Mother’s Day present in one!
Admission and tour are free for mothers. All other participants will need a valid admission ticket for the museum. Mothers will also receive a free coffee with every item purchased at Cafe Eskeles.
Booking is essential because the number of participants is restricted. Inquiries will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
