Condition:
Entire surface of silver-repoussé plate covered with a bluish-black, stained, pronounced corrosion layer. The character of the material and the original esthetics of the sophisticated surface work have been lost. Old cleaning agent remainders, which have a corrosive effect, adhere to the depressions.

Measures:
Removal of surface contamination and cleaning agent remainders, electrolytc reduction of corrosion layers (silver sulfide layer) through local application, subsequent mechanical cleaning.
