From 1939, in the Museum of Ethnology, where it was inventoried under "Post X 1939/Jüdisches Museum/varia," inventory no. 540 as "Torah prayer scroll finial, bronze, gilt, without no." Restituted to the Jewish Community (IKG) Vienna after 1945.
On base, surrounding Hebrew inscription: "This is a gift from the venerable Moshe Eliezer Schneider and his wife, Sheindel, to the Chevrah Kadisha Gemilut Hassadim in ?".
The holdings contain several ritual objects by Master AW (Anton Weichesmüller or A. Wandrich?).
