Founded in 1913, Hashomer Hatzair survived the Shoah and is active in shaping the Jewish presence in Vienna today. The guided curator tour not only looks at the exhibition but also links with other objects in the Museum, part of the largest Judaica collection in Europe. These references put the micro-history of Hashomer Hatzair in the context of Viennese and European Jewish history. Under the expert guidance of Dan Michael Fischman, visitors will discover how objects are interpreted as historical source material.
