Born in 1913 in Neusohl/Banská Bystrice (today in Slovakia), Marko Feingold spent his childhood and adolescence in Vienna. His activity as a commercial agent in Fascist Italy of the 1930s, his futile flight from the Nazis to Prague and his imprisonment in the year 1938 shaped the early years of his life. He survived the concentration camps of Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Dachau and Buchenwald. After being liberated by the Allies, Feingold made his way to Salzburg.More
