How does commemoration work?

To mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which was introduced by the United Nations in 2005 to commemorate the Shoah and the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, we invite you to take a tour of the Jewish Museum Vienna. On every floor and in all exhibitions we will take a look at objects dedicated to commemoration. The fact that these concern different items makes it clear that commemoration is also changing.

Participation in the guided tours is free for visitors with a valid exhibition ticket or annual ticket.
